  1. Cut cucumber into thin slices. Peel them if needed to get rid of the bitter flavor and make the texture of your salad softer.
  2. Chop cold boiled potatoes and add them to the bowl with cucumbers. Add thin slices of onion to the bowl as well.
  3. Now it's time to make the dressing. This is the most important part of the recipe. Mix sour cream with salt, sugar and chopped dill. If you think that potato salad with sugar won't be that tasty, you should try this recipe.
  4. Toss all the ingredients carefully and leave them in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

Serve this delicious potato salad cold. It goes well with most main dishes and garnishes.

Here are several ideas on how to change the taste of this salad without spoiling it:

  •         Use yoghurt instead of sour cream. The best choice is lean Greek yoghurt.  Some people prefer using a mixture of mayonnaise and yoghurt / sour cream (50:50). In this case, we recommend you choose homemade mayo.
  •         To make the taste of this salad crunchy, do not peel the cucumbers. In this case, your salad will look brighter as well.
  •         Another way to make this salad brighter is to add tomatoes.

We hope you will like this salad and all its variations. Save the recipe and search for more interesting recipes for summer dishes on our website. Bon Appetit!
