Chocolate Pie


I used to cook a cake with tea on the list of ingredients. Now it`s one of my favourite recipes. Still, I continue searching for new ideas. Here is the recipe of yummy chocolate cake with Earl Grey. It is very fragrant and yummy. You may dust this cake with chocolate powder or use my recommendation and cover it with chocolate topping.

  1. Preheat the oven to 356 degrees.
  2. Prepare all the ingredients. Take butter out of the fridge for it to be warm.
  3. Mash tea, using rolling pin or mortar with a pestle.
  4. Make tea and leave it to cool down.
  5. Whip butter with sugar until the mass is white. Add eggs one by one. Don`t stop whipping.
  6. Melt chocolate on the water bath. Leave it to cool down for several minutes and then pour it into the bowl with the cream. Mix everything slowly.
  7. Add tea and yoghurt. Sift dry ingredients (baking soda, flour and baking powder). Start slowly adding them into the bowl with chocolate cream. Mix everything with a spatula.
  8. Pour this dough into silicone form. Bake cake for 50 minutes.
  9. When the cake is ready, leave it to cool down. Then take it out of the form and place on the grid. Meanwhile cook chocolate topping. Preheat cream in the pan and add pieces of chocolate. Mix everything until smooth. Then take this topping off the fire.
  10. Cover cake with chocolate and let it cool down.

This chocolate delicacy may be served with tea or coffee. Bon Appetite!
