 As you`ll use only two ingredients while making this dish, you need to choose the most qualitative chocolate. Do not use cheap chocolate chips. Buy high quality dark chocolate instead. It`s also important to pick up good strawberries. They should be ripe but still firm.

Instructions:
  1. Wash strawberries and dry them carefully with paper towel.
  2. Cover the tray with the parchment.
  3. Melt chocolate over the water bath or in the microwave oven. If you decide to melt it in the microwave oven, add chocolate into the bowl and melt for 1-2 minutes. To make chocolate mass smooth, stir it each 30 seconds.
  4. Dip each strawberry into the bowl with melted chocolate, covering a half of it.
  5. Transfer each berry to the tray, covered with the parchment.
  6. Leave them for 20-30 minutes until chocolate layer is firm.
  7. If you like, you can sprinkle berries with melted chocolate to decorate it.

 It`s also a good idea to add topping before chocolate is set. Here are several interesting topping ideas.

  •         Nuts. Basically, you can use any type of nuts: pistachios, peanuts, almonds);
  •         Coconut shaving;
  •         Melt chocolate. If you decide to use it, keep in mind that it takes more time to melt white chocolate.
  •         Crushed candy canes. They will make your dessert brighter.
