When I was little , my dad used to cook these sticks quite often. Now I want to share this recipe with you. Red pepper and thyme make these sticks spicy and fragrant. They taste great and can be eaten with beer. The only minus is that they are too nutritious. Still, I like this recipe, and hope, you`ll love it too!

Grate 1 and ¼ cup of cheese.
Mix warm butter, flour, cream, egg, salt, red pepper and cheese.
Mix everything well and put it into the fridge for 3 hours.
Roll the dough. The layer should be not too thick (about 0,3 inches).
Cut it into small stripes.
Dust them with salt, red pepper and thyme.
Lubricate the tray with butter and put it into the preheated oven. Turn the fire on and bake sticks for 5 minutes. Then turn the fire down and cook the pastry for 10-15 minutes.
Leave these sticks for several minutes to cool down.
