Cheese and Broccoli Casserole

  1. Start cooking your broccoli casserole by preheating the oven to 400 F. Sprinkle a baking tray with the olive oil. Add fresh broccoli onto this tray.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Cover the baking tray with tinfoil and bake the broccoli for 10 minutes. Take the tray out of the oven and get rid of the tinfoil.
  3. In the meantime you can cook the delicious sauce. You can use healthy mayonnaise. We recommend to use homemade sauce cooked with avocado oil. If you like, you can replace it with sour cream. Mix either Mayonnaise or sour cream with salt, pepper, mustard and garlic powder.
  4. Drain the broccoli carefully and mix it with this creamy sauce. Transfer the veggies to your baking tray. Add a thick layer of grated cheese.
  5. Bake this dish for about 15 minutes. Your broccoli cheddar casserole is ready!

 We recommend using fresh broccoli for cooking this casserole. However, you can choose frozen veggies instead.  If there are the leftovers of the dish, you can store them in the fridge in the plastic container, covered with the lid.
