Carrot Soups With Fragrant Spices


Cream soup was one of the first dishes, invented in Europe several hundred years ago. People mashed different vegetables, fruits, mushrooms and even meat. They used sieve to make the mass smooth. We can do it much faster, using blender.
Carrot cream soup was invented in Italy. It`s easy to cook and all the ingredients are available. That`s why this dish is rather popular. If there is carrot, onion and several potatoes in your fridge, you may cook this dish. Still, cooks often add more ingredients, experimenting with the taste. It may be processed cheese, celery, cream, milk, fennel, ginger, oranges, cinnamon, etc.

Here is the recipe of classical cream soup with carrot. Eat it in the cold evening or when you feel bad. It`s healthy and able to fill you with energy and positive emotions. This dish may be also included in ration of vegans and vegetarians.

  1. Preheat water in the pan.
  2. Peel potato and cut it into small cubes.
  3. Cut carrot into thin circles. Then cut each of them into 4 pieces.
  4. When water boils, add salt, pepper, carrot and water. Cut onion into 8 pieces and add it into the pan as well.
  5. Boil until all the vegetables are soft. Then leave them to cool down and mash, using blender.

Pour this mass into small bowls and decorate with chopped herbs before serving.
