Bunny Shaped Buns


Hello. Today I offer you to cook perfect buns made of cottage cheese dough in the shape of Bunnies. I like this recipe, `cause the dough is cooked very quickly.  The simple bun is soft, tender, airy, and saves its freshness for a long time. Let’s start!

  1. Put cottage cheese in a bowl, crush it with a fork.
  2. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, eggs and salt. Mix well.
  3. Pour refined vegetable oil, stir.
  4. Add the flour gradually. Note: The amount of flour depends on the humidity of cottage cheese.
  5. Knead the dough, it should be elastic and non-sticky.
  6. Wrap it and put into the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes
  7. In 1 hour take the dough and divide into equal pieces (approx 22 pieces), make the balls.
  8. Put parchment on the baking pan and grease vegetable oil.
  9. Take one ball and roll out the flagellum of the size of two palms.
  10. Form two cylinders – one smaller, the second larger (head and ears).
  11. Wrap the half of flagellum and pinch the edge with the middle of the flagellum.
  12. Cut with scissors the second edge of the flagellum to make ears.
  13. Make the same with all flagellums.
  14. Put bunnies on the baking sheet at a distance from each other.
  15. Mix egg and milk in a bowl, grease the buns.
  16. Put them into the oven, preheated to 392 F and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  17. When the buns are cooled, start painting.
  18. Draw ears, eyes and nose with melted chocolate or edible pencil.
