  2. Put the beef brisket into the Instant pot. Cook it for 1.5 – 2 hours until the meat is soft and tender.
  3. Now cook the sauce. Peel and slice onion. Add minced garlic, honey, apple cider vinegar, liquid smoke, ketchup and chicken broth into the bowl. Mix everything carefully. Add Dijon mustard and 1 tsp of brown sugar. Simmer everything over a medium heat. Taste the sauce and add more spices if needed.
  4. Take the beef out of the pot. Leave it for 15 minutes to cool down. Slice the warm meat into thin slices. Serve the beef with the homemade sauce.
